It was a fantastic surprise. We decide visit Tripoli during a road trip, without search anything about the City. We just stop the car in front of the Piteros Klimateria and decide enter to have lunch. As brasilians who love food, we have to say that is a great great place to eat. The smell, the taste, the plate, the garden... everything was perfect.

I really liked Greek salad because all vegetables were fresh and tasty 🤤 the house red vine had very nice taste and I like the decoration of the place with true Vitis vinifera 🍇 which is common in Greece 🇬🇷 sadly they did not have musaka today but there are good variety of food 🍲

This place was highly recommended and it did not disappoint us. Had the fried cheese, fries with melted feta and the lamb chops as the main dish. All were exceptionally tasty. Thanks for a wonderful evening.

Great ambience atmosphere with amazing food. We had Alpha and moussaka and the portions was huge. The stuff was friendly and advised us about our trip to the mountains 🏔. We choose this as one stop in this city on the way to Sparta and it was very good idea!
Really good food at reasonable prices! I super nice tavern with wonderful backyard with wine leaves that provides wonderful shades. Food was really good, as we tried galeo with skordalia (little bit mild for my taste), cooked horta and Pasta with eggs.

The food was excellent, great place to stop when in Tripoli. We were on our way to our village (Kerpini), and stopped there late at night. Service and staff were awesome 👌 ❤️

Great food under the trees (klimataria) You have to try cheecepie and the local pasta with egg on top! Beer mamos is a must!

I’m really surprised I don’t have food photos of this place! It is honestly my favourite restaurant in Tripoli. Our family has been coming here for at least the past 7 years. We’re usually there in the summer and eat outside. The outside terrace is covered and quite large. The inside is nice and cozy with a fireplace. It serves traditional food, Arcadian traditional food. Top hits are the xorta perivolisia- seasonal greens cooked with tomato and fresh herbs, another is the rooster with hilopites. It’s actually hard for me to try other dishes because I keep ordering the same things! However, I usually go with my family, so theres 4 other people ordering! Hubby has ordered wild boar steak, bifteki… my kids have ordered avgolemono, makaronia me kima, souvlaki (it’s giant!) and mosxari kokkinisto to name a few. Wait- last time I actually ordered the salt cod with leeks- very tasty, even though salt cod isn’t really my favourite (I was trying to be healthy). Wine is alright, bread is amazing. The food was amazing, fresh, and delicious. The service was hospitable and warm. They took great care of us. An excellent example of what a fantastic taverna is in Greece. Would eat here every time I come to Tripoli.

Great setting outside, delicious lamp chops and very very nice homemade crème caramel one of the best I ever ate. Highly recommend.

Don’t miss this restaurant whenever in Tripoli. Authentic food at a very reasonable prices. One of the best meals (if not the best) we had in Peloponnese. The staff treated us like their family.

Fantastic establishment. Classic, traditional Tripolitsiotiko food. The tsouhti makaronada reminded me exactly of how my late grandfather, who lived in Tripoli and had eaten here, made it. My favorite Greek dish, made to perfection. The broiled chicken and lemon potatoes were also outstanding, lemony but not overbearing. The braised beef with orzo just outstanding, like my mom’s. Moist, fork tender cubes of beef with a tomato oil sauce to die for.
Fantastic white wine selection from a local vineyard by our very attentive and personable waitress.
Best of all though, the crème caramele knocked it out of the park. This is the way it SHOULD be made, with a slightly bitter (not sweet/sugary) sauce.
A+
We will be back…all the way from Chicago!
